Each year, Tesco and Sainsbury's run their voucher
collection schemes. Tesco call theirs Tesco for schools and clubs while
Sainsbury's is known as Active Kids.
2012 appeal
After not being interested in collecting vouchers in previous years, the
group has finally woken up to the idea of having all sections collecting
into a common pool for equipment that can then be shared. As a result,
Parbrook will not be making its own collection this year.
2011 appeal
Unfortunately, the asbestos scare at the hall meant that a lot of our
equipment had to be destroyed. That included the velcro target and parachute
that we'd got with our vouchers. Normally we only collect one sort of
vouchers but this year the whole group was collecting both sorts.
We collected 5413 Sainsbury's Active Kids vouchers and donated 277 to the
group pot. That left 5136 for us to replace our velcro target and get some
other camping equipment.
We collected a total of 4609
Tesco vouchers
and donated 211 to the central group pot. That left 4398 for us to use to
replace our parachute and get a few other bits and bobs.

In 2010 we collected 2143 Sainsbury's Active Kids
vouchers and all of this new equipment.

In 2009 it was Tesco for Schools & Clubs vouchers that we collected:

In 2008 we
collected Active Kids vouchers
