We are always looking for new and interesting activities to try out and so for our night away in December we will be visiting the Science Museum in London to take part in Science Night.

What do you need from me?
If you are on our guest list you must now complete and return our health form. The form also includes the kit list

What: Science Night provides education and fun through an evening of fantastic activities rounded off by camping in the Science Museum overnight. On Sunday we have more activities and an IMAX film. The theme for this science night is "waste warriors". You can view the detailed timetable and kit list.

Where: We will be travelling by train to Victoria and then Underground to South Kensington

When: Please meet outside the station booking office at 4.15pm. We expect to catch the 4.29pm train. On Sunday we hope to be back at 1.14pm so please wait for us by the footbridge on platform 2.

Cost: We have fixed the cost at £30 which is the amount we have to pay to the Science Museum. We will subsidise your train fares. It is now time to pay the balance of your camp fees.

Wear: Cubs will need to wear uniform

Who: You can see who is coming by looking at the Guest list. Numbers are limited to a total of 16 Cubs and Scouts (under 11). We are taking 10 Cubs and 6 Scouts with 4 leaders. Unfortunately we cannot take any additional parents on this trip.

Bring: You will need a packed tea to eat on the train and something for supper when we get to the museum. You may like to bring some pocket money for souvenirs. You will have to carry your own kit so it needs to be kept to a minimum. Just a sleeping bag, toothbrush and pyjamas. See our kit list letter for more information.

Forms: You will need to complete a health/consent form.
