On Friday 3 February, Cubs from across Petworth & Pulborough District
will be
having a quiz. It will be a real mixture of old fashioned pub quiz style
general knowledge (questions from the front), pictures, memory tests, brain
teasers and of course
some scouting history thrown in.
Where: Main hall at Herbert Shiner Community Hall, South Grove, Petworth,
GU28 0EE. You will need to make your own way there.
When: The quiz will start at 6pm and finish at 7.30pm. To allow
the quiz to start on time please try to arrive soon after 5.45pm.
Wear: Cubs will need to wear uniform
Pay: The cost (£5 per team) will be paid by the group
Teams: We have entered 2 teams. Each team will
need a team name and must consist of:
- 1 x 8 year old
- 1 x 9 year old (or younger)
- 1 x 10 year old (or younger)
- one other Cub of any age
(In future years this may be better defined as a team having a total age
of 37 or less as this gives more flexibility)

The closing date for registering a team was Saturday 28
January and all teams registered by this date received a +5 point head
start.
Unfortunately our friends at 1st Bury, 1st Petworth and 1st Easebourne
have confirmed that they are unable to enter a team this year
This District event has been organised by us as our team of
Josh, Sam, Cai and Matt
won the competition
last year.
