We will be joining the other sections from 1st Billingshurst for a group activity day.

Where: Nowhurst camp site near Broadbridge Heath. We have booked both the pond and stumps site (left and right from the car park). Remember that a one way system operates for vehicles through the site and you'll need to leave your car in the central car park.

When: You should meet at the Pond Site (right out of the car park) at 10am. Cubs should check in with Baloo as she will be the only Parbrook leader on site that day. We will provide a day of activities through to 4pm. Parents are welcome to return for the camp fire at 3.30pm.

What: Activities will be suitable for all sections - from Beavers to Scouts. We hope to have plenty from each of the sections there to take part. They will include archery, face painting, fire lighting, sweet making and backwoods cooking. We hope to end the afternoon with a few camp fire songs.

How: A number of you have already booked a place online for this day. However, if you'd like to come and have not booked in advance then don't worry - just come along on the day and check in with Baloo when you get there. You'll need to complete a day activity form so that we have an emergency contact number while you are at Nowhurst and so that you can also remind us of any dietary needs.

Cost: The cost is £5. You will need to bring your money with you on the day. We'd appreciate exact money in cash please. To make it easier for us, please put this and your day activity form in an envelope with your name on the outside.

Wear: You should wear clothes appropriate to the weather on the day. You should arrive in your uniform top and scarf but may like to bring a change of clothes. The ground may be muddy in places.

Bring: In addition to your £5 admission fee you should also bring a packed lunch. We'll provide drinks throughout the day.
