Cub Scouts
Cub Scouts
are boys and girls aged between 8 and 10½ years of age. You can
find out more about the Cub Scout section by visiting the

Baden-Powell.
When you are a Cub you can work for lots of badges and awards. We do not
have the requirements on our site but click on the "badges & awards" link on
the left of any of our pages to take you to Scoutbase.

We meet on a
Tuesday night from 6.30pm to 8pm
at the 1st Billingshurst HQ in Lower Station Road.
This is our website. You can see the sort of things that we get up to by
clicking on the "Past Events" link on the left of any of our pages. You can
also see what is coming up by clicking on "Diary" and finding our programme
for the term.
More about the leaders
All our leaders are
volunteers and have been CRB checked. You can find out more about leaders in
general on the Scout
Association website. Our Cub leaders all have
jungle book
names.
Our pack is led by
Akela (Nick Layt) with help from Raksha (Phyllis Gravett) and Baloo (Karen Brooks).
You can e-mail us by using our pack names (e.g. Akela) "at"
parbrook.org.uk or get us all in one go by sending an e-mail to
"leaders" at parbrook.org.uk.
We are always looking for new leaders and helpers. Not all leaders wear
uniform, you don't have to help every week and you don't have to be a Cub
parent. If you think you would like to get more involved please see our "Join

More about our District
Scout Groups like 1st Billingshurst don't operate in isolation. We are
part of Petworth & Pulborough District which
includes groups from Ifold, Storrington and Wisborough Green.
The District in turn is one of 12 that make up
West Sussex Scout
