A good sampling of late 19th and 20th century poetry without being too overwhelming for someone who is just getting started The most helpful part of this anthology is the first 100 pages of introduction, in which DiYanni expounds on the physical e.g sound and form and intellectual e.g metaphor and comparison aspects of poetry He helps new readers of poetry to begin to recognize these things in the poems they read In depth enough to be useful, but not over the top.

    2. Preston says:

      Worth it.
